Keith the Koala
By Nana Huchy
Keith’s shyness is eclipsed only by his huge heart. So afraid of the world is Keith that he often spends months clinging to the eucalyptus tree at home on the million-acre cattle station 400km west of Byron Bay. Recently, however, from the vantage of his leafy abode, he spotted his friend Wombat alone & lost. Keith took a big eucalyptic gulp, climbed down his treehouse & gave Wally a big Koala cuddle. When Wally felt that soft tummy & fluffy ears, he knew he was safe.
